I was excited about this dish. I love crispy Brussels sprouts and I wanted to try farro. But this preparation was disappointing. There was no seasoning called for in the recipe and I just added pepper since prosciutto was in the dish. Speaking of the prosciutto, frying it in this style makes it hard and not appealing. I was hoping for crispy Brussels sprouts but all the other ingredients made the Brussels sprouts soft even after crisping them up first. Meh.
